About Our Products
What are edible toppers made of?
Our edible toppers are printed on premium A4 edible icing sheets using food-safe inks. The icing sheets contain: thickener (1422), maltodextrin, humectant (422), white sugar, water, stabilisers, dextrose, emulsifiers, food colour (171), vanilla flavour, and preservatives. They are suitable for cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.
Are edible toppers safe to eat?
Our edible toppers are made with food-safe ingredients. Please read our allergen disclaimer in the Terms and Conditions if you have any food allergies or sensitivities. If you have concerns, consult a healthcare professional before consumption.
Do edible toppers have a taste?
The icing sheet has a mild vanilla flavour and a soft, chewy texture. Most customers do not notice it on a cake — the toppers blend with the frosting.
How should I store edible toppers?
Keep the toppers in their original airtight packaging in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate — moisture can damage the print. Use within 6 months for best quality.
How long do cookie cutters last?
Our 3D-printed cookie cutters are made of food-safe PLA material and last for years with proper care. Handwash only — do not put them in the dishwasher, microwave, or oven.
Can I use toppers on fondant, buttercream, or whipped cream?
Yes. Edible toppers work on all types of frosting. Apply the topper when the frosting is slightly tacky (not wet, not completely dried) for the best result. See our Edible Topper Guide for step-by-step instructions.
Sizes and Options
What sizes do cake toppers come in?
Cake toppers can be made from 2 cm to 20.5 cm in diameter. You can choose any size within this range.
What sizes do cupcake toppers come in?
Cupcake toppers come in three size profiles:
- Standard Round: 5.5 cm diameter (12 toppers per sheet)
- Mini Round: 4 cm diameter (20 toppers per sheet)
- Cookie Round: 6 cm diameter (10 toppers per sheet)
What is "Pre-cut"?
Pre-cut (+$3) means we cut your topper to the exact size before shipping, so you do not have to. Pre-cut is available for toppers up to 18.7 cm in diameter.
Can I modify the text on a catalogue topper?
Yes. For catalogue designs that include text, you can modify it for an additional $3. You can choose to have the new design emailed to you for approval before printing (this adds time to your order), or we can print it directly.
What is the Mix Sheet Builder?
The Mix Sheet Builder lets you combine multiple different designs on a single sheet — all the same size. For example, you could have 6 Spiderman toppers and 6 Batman toppers on one sheet. Mix sheets start at $21 per sheet.
Placing an Order
How do I place an order?
Browse our catalogue, add items to your cart, and check out using your preferred payment method. For custom designs, upload your image and provide any special instructions during checkout.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit card, PayPal, Afterpay, Stripe, direct bank transfer, and cash at pickup.
Can I order without a customer account?
Yes, you can check out as a guest. Creating an account lets you track your orders and reorder faster.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Contact us immediately at info@sweetprintsaustralia.com. If production has not started yet, we can usually accommodate changes. Once we begin printing or 3D printing, changes are no longer possible.
Do you do custom designs?
Yes. Upload your own image through our Custom & Mixed Designs page. We offer:
- Custom cake topper — $18 (+$3 pre-cut, available up to 18.7 cm diameter)
- Custom cupcake/cookie toppers — Single Photo — $18 (+$3 pre-cut). One photo replicated across the whole sheet.
- Custom cupcake/cookie toppers (multiple photos) — $24 per sheet, includes up to 4 different photos. Each additional photo: +$1.50. Pre-cut: +$4 per sheet. Max photos depends on size: 12 (Standard 5.5 cm) / 20 (Mini 4 cm) / 10 (Cookie 6 cm).
- Print My File (PDF) — $14 per page (printed as-is, no modifications)
- Custom cookie cutter — $20 (3D-printed, food-safe, upload your design)
Do you do bulk or corporate orders?
Yes. For bulk orders or corporate events, please contact us at info@sweetprintsaustralia.com for a custom quote. Bulk orders start from around $0.30 per topper depending on quantity.
Shipping and Pickup
How much does shipping cost?
- 1-2 items: $5.00
- 3+ items: $7.00
- Orders over $150: free shipping
- Local pickup in Kardinya, WA: free

Do you ship internationally?
Not at this time — we ship Australia-wide only.
How long does shipping take?
After production (1-3 business days), standard shipping is typically:
- Perth metro: 2-5 business days
- Regional/remote Australia: 5-10 business days
Do you provide tracking?
Standard postage does not include tracking. Priority or express postage (when selected) includes a tracking number.
What if my package is lost or damaged?
For standard postage, Sweet Prints Australia is not responsible for items lost or damaged by the postal carrier during transit, and you may lodge a claim directly with Australia Post. For priority or express postage with tracking, we will help you with the claim. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if the product was defective or not as described at the time we shipped it. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Free local pickup is available from our Kardinya, WA location. We will email you when your order is ready and coordinate a convenient pickup time. The exact pickup address is sent to you by email once the order is confirmed.
I need my order urgently — what should I do?
For urgent orders, please contact us on Facebook or Instagram before ordering to confirm availability. If we can fulfil it within 24 hours, you can add the Priority Printing option ($8 per block of 5 sheets) to your pickup order.
Pricing and Payment
Why are there no GST amounts shown?
Sweet Prints Australia is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged on our products. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are the final price you pay.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum — you can order a single sheet if you like.
Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?
Yes. Bulk orders get discounts depending on quantity — please contact us for a custom quote.
When does payment need to be made?
Payment is required at checkout. For direct bank transfer, payment must reach us within 48 hours or the order may be cancelled. For cash at pickup, payment is due at collection.
Refunds and Returns
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel before production begins by emailing us immediately. Once we start printing or 3D printing, cancellations are generally not possible for made-to-order products. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
What if my order is damaged or has errors?
If the error or damage is our fault (printing error, incorrect text, production defect), we will reprint at no charge or offer a full refund. Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos.
Can I return an edible topper or cookie cutter?
For food safety (edible toppers) and hygiene (cookie cutters), we generally do not accept returns. Refunds are offered for our errors, defects, or as required under the Australian Consumer Law. See our Refund Policy for full details.
What if I uploaded a low-quality image?
We print what you upload. Results depend on the quality of the image you supply, and we generally cannot offer a refund for issues caused by low image quality. We recommend using high-resolution images (300 DPI or better).
Custom Designs and Copyright
Can I upload a Disney / Marvel / copyrighted image?
You are responsible for making sure you have the right or permission to use any image you upload to our website. By uploading, you confirm that you own the image or have permission to use it. Sweet Prints Australia does not check copyright status and is not liable for infringement related to content you supply.
Will you design a topper for me if I don't have a file?
We do not currently offer custom design-from-scratch services. You need to provide the image file. We can adjust minor details (text, colour) as part of the "Modify text" option on catalogue products.
What image format should I upload?
JPG, PNG, or PDF work best. Aim for at least 300 DPI for sharp printing. The higher the resolution, the better the result.

Do you have designs for birthdays, weddings, baby showers?

Do you do wedding favours?

Can you make logo cookies for a corporate event?
Yes. Order our Custom Cookie Cutter for a logo-shaped cutter, or a custom cookie topper with your logo. For large corporate orders, contact us for bulk pricing.
